- The software you use would set the modem's speed. If you are using
- Trumpet Winsock, the speed can be set under File/Setup. A port speed of
- 57600 is plenty enough although if you can, try setting it to 115200. I'm
- assuming you have an internal Sportster. If not, you need to make sure
- you have a 16550 UART on your serial or I/O card. Check out these two
